Mechanics — The Benzie County
Road Commission is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Mechanic. This
is a full-time position. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
A valid Class A CDL is preferred but not required. Must be certified with the State
of Michigan in Heavy Duty Engine Repair — Diesel/Gas, Drive Train, Brakes and Braking
Systems, and Suspension-Steering Systems preferred, but not required. Previous work
experience with similar equipment is desired. Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment
physical and drug screen. Applications are available above or at the Road Commission
Seasonal summer work – The
Benzie County Road Commission is seeking qualified applicants to fill two positions
for temporary seasonal summer work. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, should
possess a valid driver's license, have a clean driving record and a high school education
or equivalent. This position will be 40 hours a week from June through August. Applicant
must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
