Administrative Assistant (Permanent
Part-time) – The Benzie County Road Commission is seeking a qualified individual
to fill the position of part time Administrative Assistant. This is a permanent part-time
position (approximately 20 hours per week), work hours can vary based on need. Candidates
must have the ability to work well with supervisors, other employees, and the general
public and must be organized and be able to multi-task. This position will assist
the front office in answering phones, computer data entry, requests for service,
assisting with permit applications, filing and other general clerical duties. Minimum
qualifications include a high school diploma and relevant prior experience in an
office environment. Salary will commensurate with experience. Individuals may apply

Temporary Winter Truck Drivers
— The Benzie County Road
Commission is accepting applications for temporary Winter Truck Drivers until 3:30
PM on October 26, 2018. Applicants must have a current, valid CDL, Class A or B with
air brake endorsement. Snowplowing experience is a plus. Positions are available
from November 2018 through March 2019. Applications are available above or at the
Road Commission office.
Truck Driver — The Benzie County Road Commission has an
opening for one full-time truck driver. Applicants must have a current, valid CDL
Class B with air brake endorsement, and be able and willing to obtain a Class A endorsement
within one year of hiring. Snow-plowing experience is a plus. Applications are available
above or at the Road Commission office.
