Road Commission Notices
As each driver plows designated routes, they look out for hazards along the way. Some of these hazards can be prevented. We ask for our community to not park along side the roads, especially during winter. Parking along side the road during the winter can prohibit plow drivers to properly clear the road with snow.
We also ask our community to not push snow across the plowed portions of public highways and right of ways. When this is done, it creates a berm of snow that when hit, possibilities of veering off the roadway or causing an accident increases.
If you find one of these and you want more information on why it was placed, please give us a call.
Mailbox Etiquette
Every year, we recommend to check you your mailbox before snowfall. This allows you to make sure the post isn’t rotting and making sure your post is sturdy enough to handle the snow coming off of the plow trucks.
