These maps certify roads which are under the jurisdiction of the Benzie County Road Commission, the length of each road, and the fact that these roads are normally open to automobile traffic May through October.

2025 ROAD PROJECTS

FEDERAL PROJECTS – (Funded by Federal, State-D and Road Commission Funds)
-Platte Lake Road - from US-31 northwesterly to M-22

LOCAL ROAD PROJECTS – (Funded by Road Commission Millage Revenue)
-Nugent Road, from Grace Road to Demerly Road (overlay paving 1.55 miles),
-Johnson Road, from Herron Road to Demerly Road (overlay paving 0.92 miles),
-Demerly Road, from corner west of Johnon to Nugent Road (overlay paving 1.1 miles)

PRIMARY ROAD PROJECTS – (Funded by Road Commission Millage Revenue)
-Valley Road, from Fowler Road to Leelanau county line (crush/shape 2.00 miles),
-Betsie River Road, from Rhodes Road to county line (overlay paving 1.58 miles),
